(Technical Talk)           Interior Material
 
     PLF consists of a melamine resin impregnated decorative paper, thermally fused to an industrial grade of medium density fiberboard (MDF). Thermal fusion takes place under heat and pressure and permanently bonds the resin impregnated paper to the substrate. The process of thermal fusion produces a permanent bond between the melamine surface and the substrate. Panels are supplied with decorative faces on both sides.
 
     We pride ourselves in our commitment to the highest standard of quality, which is why we use the industries leading US manufacturer of MDF known as being the best of class.
 
                           HDPE The Extreme Material
     Our exterior  products including our rocker and beach or pool chairs are precision machined from solid slabs of HDPE = High Density Polyethylene. This is extremely tuff material and is currently the material of choice aboard yachts and other water craft around the world. We guarantee these products that are manufactured in HDPE for the purchaser’s  lifetime.

¡     Most furniture is put together in pieces that are joined with  glue, screws, nails and pins. All of these areas are subject to fail sooner or later. While a typical chair could have as many as 12 to 20 parts, a PressLock chair has only 5 parts. None of these parts require any type of fasteners. The assembly techniques are common to those designs of over one hundred years ago. The big difference is in precision machining, the new materials available today and our patented locking feature that allows the assembly and disassembling of all PressLock products quickly and easily. PressLock is truly a new and unique product.
